Din, a Gerudo?[]

Okay, so I consider myself very childish for having reverted the previous edit again, instead of just starting this discussion and leaving things be for now, but I geuss I'll just have to learn to live with that. ;)

Okay, before I changed it this time, I've checked EVERY piece of artwork and every sprite/model available on zeldalegends and gamehiker (Not the manga though, and as the manga's canonicity is debatable, I don't think I need too). Gerudo have ROUND ears. The reason they don't have it in-game in OOT is because that was way too hard to do back then. Everything in OOT and MM is blocky, ie with points. However, comparing the models of those with confirmed pointy ears with that of the Gerudo, leave no doubt about that (if you have prove otherwise, please show it). Then there's the official art which depict them solely with round ears. The only example that comes to mind is Ganondorf in TWW, who seemed to have pointy ears, but I'd have to check. Then the issue of their noses: Gerudo really have prominent noses (both ingame and in art). They had that in each of the three games they appeared in. I have yet to see confirmed Gerudo who doesn't have that, so give me proof.IfIHaveTo 07:00, 20 November 2007 (EST)

OoT Gerudo Guard Artwork does not depict a large nose. Koume and Kotake are obviously exaggerated, and don't even have the same skin color or size as any other Gerudo. I was wrong about the ears, I guess my vision was blurry or something. The noses of normal Gerudo and the art for them seems normal, but it does look like they would be slightly more prominent than Hylians in OoT and MM - in FSA, they appear normal again. Whatever. Why don't we just remove the line entirely, since her skin is nowhere near tan enough, and the Gerudo seemingly have yellow eyes anyway?KrytenKoro 20:19, 20 November 2007 (EST)

I had a deeper look at this situation, and you do realise that Jolene is theorized as a Gerudo for tan skin and similar attack patterns, but lacks the red hair and large nose; Telma, who is also theorized as a Gerudo for red hair and the Gerudo symbol, while she lacked the tan skin, and also the large nose; and let's not forget the fact that Twinrova needed Din, The Oracle of Seasons, kidnapped to throw the seasons in chaos, much like hoe she/they kidnapped Nabooru, the Sage of Spirit. All I'm saying is that these two characters (Jolene and Telma) are theorized as having some, but not all, of the characteristics of a Gerudo; Din, The Oracle of Seasons, is no exception. The Oracle is fine, but the Goddess?[]

The second line of this page has been bugging me. "The human Din is best known as the Oracle of Seasons. Due to their identical names, and /similar personalities/ and symbolism, it has been theorized that she is an incarnation of the goddess Din herself." What personality does the Goddess Din possess? She's never seen in the games and seldom mentioned outside of talk about the Golden Goddesses (aka as part of a trio instead of an individual). Not to mention shouldn't stuff like this be put in a theory section in detail? The page just feels off but I haven't gotten around to playing either of the Oracle games to I can't edit this page in good conscience. —Preceding unsigned comment added by VoltraTheLively (talk) 18:49, 5 June 2014

I agree with you, so I've gone ahead and removed it and placed the remaining info in the trivia section. - TonyT S C 11:54, 8 June 2014 (UTC)
