The Lake of Ill Omen is a location in A Link to the Past.[1]

Features and Overview[]

The lake is located in the northeast region of the Dark World, exactly where Zora's Lake is in the Light World.

BigCatfish

The lake features a ring of stones where the Catfish resides. Near the ring, a sign reads: "Curses to anyone who throws something into my circle of stones." If Link ignores the sign and throws something into the ring of stones, the Catfish appears and gives him the Quake Medallion.[2] Throwing another item into the ring of stones results in a fireball or a Bomb being thrown at Link.
