It's not really a tourny. WHat the Mariomarathoners and Zelda four48 did was beat the first 3 Zeldas and Minish Cap, and then the Four 48 team beat the 4 3-D Zeldas and Masterquest in total of 70 hours. It was all streamed on the internet, and they raised money for Child's Play. My friends and I still want to do it, but because of our busy scheadules we probable won't get around to it until Spring break or even next summer. It has been partially done. The bosses one, Bosses in The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords, is really sad and you may want to fix it. Here is the dungeons one, Dungeons in The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords. And the Characters one, Characters in The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords. They all need fixing/expansion. On the page, it says it needs citation for the translation of the Japanese name. I can attest that the translation (Sword of the Four) is the one that makes most sense. == Anniversary Edition ==

There's a hidden stage in Anniversary Edition you can unlock by beating the game once. It's called Realm of Memories, and is based on Hyrule Castle from A Link to the Past with the appropriate music. Stage one is outside the castle, and stage two is inside. I haven't beat it yet, but I'll be taking a shot at it tonight. Also, there's one player mode now that plays similarly to FSA, where you can control two Links either individually or have the second one follow you.
  +
  +
Now, I'm new to this wiki and want to ask before flying off the handle: Will Anniversary Edition get its own page, or will it be an update to this page? I don't think there as many differences as what was done with Link's Awakening DX compared to the original. If anyone can shed some light on how to proceed from this point, let me know and I'll try to help with getting the new information put up. --KingStarscream 16:54, 30 September 2011 (EDT)

::Arguably there are MORE differences. Link's Awakening DX, aside from the graphics update, had the Photos and the Color Dungeon, while Anniversary Edition has two new levels, each of which has three doors with three "floors" each, that are not randomly generated like the original levels, and has a Single Player option with additional controls. Admittedly, these new levels essentially reuse assets already in the game, or from older games, and there are no new bosses (unless I haven't got to them yet) but its still quite a LOT of extra content. Getting through the new levels takes longer than a single playthrough of the main game, easily, and they're goddamn HARD, even for a Zelda veteran. Fizzle 19:15, 1 October 2011 (EDT)

Bosses

I think we should make new pages for the three bosses. but what should we call the bosses since they have no official names? I was leaning towards, Guardian of the Sea of Trees, Guardian of Talus Cave, and Guardian of Death Mountain. I think that would sound better than calling them Boss of the Sea of Trees, etc. any other thoughts? BanaBana 16:45, 28 July 2008 (UTC)

Is It Possible

Is the four swords merely just a shortened version of Four Swords Adventures?...maybe the company was trying out the new multilayer thing? I just find it weird the way it goes in the storylines...anyone else? Also I never played it..was there anything in the game that was important..like how in FSA there was a new tribe in the desert?? or was there a ganon or shadow link or trident of power ? or triforce? --Remo 09:42, 21 April 2008 (UTC)

First off, Four Swords is not a shortened version of Four Swords Adventures. The only important things was that it introuduced Vaati and that it featured levels that bare a resemblence to that of Mystery Dungeon games. I'm probable going to go about editing the pages relating to Four Swords. BanaBana 16:40, 28 July 2008 (UTC)

When you say Mystery Dungeon...are you talking about Pokemon?..and still what is the biggest difference between FS and FSA.

What makes FS stand out on its own..that it would actually be important to the game series or timeline...at least what makes it stand out when FSA doesn't?--Remo 19:23, 6 August 2008 (UTC)

When I say Mystery Dungeon, I mean Mystery Dungeon games, which yes includes Pokemon, along with other games like Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo's Dungeon. Of course it is definately not as extreme as those games, but they're still randomly generated. (Maps usually contain two elements, a large area and a small area. So you can get Large area A and Small Area A, or Large area A and Small Area B, or Large Area B with Small area C, etc. etc.) What makes FS sepreate from FSA is really how certain things are set up. First off there is dungeons, like I said before in FS they're generated randomly, where as FSA everything is pre-set. Next is that with FS you need at least one other player, you can't play it alone like with FSA. I don't think either FS or FSA stand out much. BanaBana 20:10, 6 August 2008 (UTC)

When I say stand out I mean...story wise, cuz really the first half of FSA (I never played it so I am assuming) the same as the the entire FS game...isn't it. You gather the 4 elements and defeat Vaati?--Remo 21:20, 6 August 2008 (UTC)

Not quite. You have to get the 3 keys from the Great Fairys and then break into Vaati's Palace. I suppose it wouldn't be breaking in since you have a key... but you get what i mean! lol!!! Also obtaining the 4 elements in FSA is sort of intertwined with rescueing the maidens. BanaBana 21:24, 6 August 2008 (UTC)

Thanks so much finally someone gave me a good answer. Now I see there is a major difference. You wouldn't happen to know where I could see the plot or a video or something I can never find any info on those? --Remo 22:51, 6 August 2008 (UTC)
