Manga is the Japanese word for "comic". Outside of Japan, the term refers to comics made in Japan. There have been several manga about The Legend of Zelda, mostly following the plot lines of various games. It should be noted that these stories are not considered canon.
Many of these manga are available only in Japan; however, Viz Media has recently announced plans to translate and publish several of the manga in English within the United States. These manga include Ocarina of Time (volumes 1 and 2), Majora's Mask, and Oracle of Seasons.
