The Golden Leaves are a set of quest items in the game Link's Awakening. The leaves belong to a man named Richard who lives in Ukuku Prairie. When Link visits Richard, he learns that Richard was the prince of Kanalet Castle until his subjects rebelled and cast him out. Richard asks Link to recover his prized golden leaves from the castle in exchange for a reward.[1] Once Link manages to obtain all five leaves, Richard gives him the Slime Key, allowing him to access Key Cavern.[2]
