Big Ice Gimos are giant varieties of Gimos. One appears near the western summit of Lorule's Death Mountain, while another appears in the caves to the east. They attack in a same manner to Armos Knights from ALttP, leaping high above Link to slam down upon him, often sending him off the edge of a platform. They are powerful and can withstand many hits, but like their smaller cousins they are easily destroyed with the Fire Rod.

Template:Enemy

Gimos are living gargoyle-like statues that appear as enemies in A Link Between Worlds. They are the Lorule counterpart to Armos, but are generally stronger and mostly appear in Lorule, but do also appear in the Desert Palace in Hyrule. Gimos Statues can be found throughout Lorule dungeons and can be used to solve puzzles by pushing them to activating switches, but the Gimos that come to life will charge at Link relentlessly.

Variations

Ice Gimos

Ice Gimos are primarily found on Death Mountain in Lorule. They are a little stronger than standard Gimos, but are exceptionally weak to the Fire Rod, which will melt them instantly. Ice Gimos Statues can be found blocking various paths and entrances and must be melted to progress.

Big Ice Gimos

Big Ice Gimos are giant varieties of Gimos. One appears near the western summit of Lorule's Death Mountain, while another appears in the caves to the east. They attack in the same manner as Armos Knights from A Link to the Past, leaping high above Link to slam down upon him, often sending him off the edge of a platform. They are powerful and can withstand many hits, but like their smaller cousins they are easily destroyed with the Fire Rod.

Fire Gimos

Fire Gimos are primarily found in Turtle Rock. Although Fire Gimos can be harmed with the sword, this reflects damage on Link if attacked with slashes. They must be defeated by a Sword Beam or hitting them with the Ice Rod and then striking them once they are frozen.
