Bias

This article seems to be unfairly slamming ZU, without any real reasoning as to why ZU was so "bad". It should at the least be rephrased to not outright say "ZU sucked".128.211.183.231 20:52, 27 November 2007 (EST)

Jason owns both this wiki and ZU, and hasn't seen fit to make any changes or comment on the wording. If you want to reword it more neutrally, go ahead. --Adam 03:06, 28 November 2007 (EST)
I haven't really read through the article, but I'm not surprised that there's bias. Capn is a good friend of mine, however, and it's all really propaganda. ZU and ZI set it up (but don't let anybody know that :P) to create a healthy rivalry. When Brawl rolls around, it will be all-out war... (by the way, ZI sucks) --Jase 08:47, 28 November 2007 (EST)

Article Merger

Absolute Zelda merged with ZeldaInformer about 7 months ago, so it makes sense the articles should be merged. Mases 23:08, 4 February 2009 (UTC)

I agree. I was considering suggesting this on the AZ page, but then I found this. User:Triforce of the Gods/sig 01:17, 9 February 2009 (UTC)
I merged this long ago with hopes that somebody would come along and clean it up. At the time when Absolute Zelda was under construction and was to be the future ZeldaInformer in a sense, it made sense to merge the articles. However, this page has stayed very bulky looking for awhile now and I'm not sure what to do with it. In particular the portion that came from the Zelda Domain / Absolute Zelda page. Mases 07:34, 2 August 2009 (UTC)
Do not fear. I am in the process of going through all of the ZI ZW content and giving it an overhaul, it has just been delayed because of the 500 errors. Expect it to be done fairly soon. User:Melchizedek/sig 09:58, 2 August 2009 (UTC)
I separated the sections about Zelda Domain into their own article (Zelda Domain). Since Domain isn't the same as AZ, the information about it shouldn't be on ZI's page. From here on, I'd appreciate it if this page could be kept to information about ZI and the new merged site. Thanks! -Uncle Meat 13:17, 3 August 2009 (UTC)

Keep ZI as mastermind

Now around have of Zelda informers posts have nothing to do with Zelda, which is clogging up the wiki news, and the recently posted a video and images of a stripper, which they claimed was based on Samus, but had absolutely no resemblance and I believe is just an excuse to put images of strippers on their site. They are now causing problems for the wiki.User:Ganondox/sig 17:40, 30 September 2010 (EDT)

You are right, some of their posts veer off Zelda from time to time, which is pretty normal on fansites. However, I don't think it's fair to throw them out just because they're covering other content. The amount of Zelda news available at the moment is low, and they can't leave their main page to rot. Damir's Samus post has been removed, as it should have been. However, I don't think it warrants ZI's removal as the poster wasn't even a webmaster. User:Minion/sig 18:43, 30 September 2010 (EDT)

I know, it just there recent activity has pissed me off. User:Ganondox/sig 21:02, 30 September 2010 (EDT)

Ganondox, this sounds like a personal issue. ZeldaInformer has more than earned the right to continue being a ZW Mastermind, and considering the amount of work and input it's webmaster, Nathan, provides behind the scenes for this place, you'd see why. Their recent dip into Nintendo news in general is still relevant, and I believe that it is beneficial for a wiki such as ours to see information from related topics - I mean the site is still covering Zelda in the majority of it's Bombers posts, at least, with a news blurb here and there. User:Cipriano 119/sig 22:58, 30 September 2010 (EDT)
To echo Cip, your concern is appreciated, but the image(s) in question were not pornographic in nature. Also, such an incident would definitely not be grounds for removal as a Mastermind. Also, this kind of discussion holds zero water. If someone should get removed over something, the Staff will probably know about it long before any users will, and will handle it accordingly. --Xizor 23:16, 30 September 2010 (EDT)
