| First appearance | Majora's Mask |
Zubora and Gabora are a pair of blacksmiths encountered in Majora's Mask. These smiths live in the Mountain Village, and will do any odd job. With their help, Link can make his sword very powerful. However, a special substance called Gold Dust is needed to make the most powerful sword. The small man is called Zubora, and he has a very chirpy personality. The hulking Gabora seems to be the one who does all the forging while his superior relaxes and drinks a warm beverage. Their very distinct personalities combined together make them one odd pair.
Trivia
- In Wind Waker, the text of Phantom Ganon's sword reads "Zubora Gabora" in Hylian.

- Gabora shares many similarities with Bongo Bongo from Ocarina of Time: both don't speak but grunt, Gabora wears a mask filled with straw where Bongo Bongo has no head, Gabora wears gloves where Bongo Bongo has his hands separated from his arms, and official artworks show them with the same grey color and muscular body.
