Welcome to The Heart Container! This is where everybody who visits Castle Town hangs out. Just imagine the lavishly designed interior of Castle Town's coolest club. That's where you are right now. Imagine! We know, the thought can be quite overwhelming.

Here at The Heart Container users can ask a different user to do a small task on the wiki, that you can not do. Here's an example: "Can somebody clean up picture X?" To post a problem just click the plus (+) symbol next to the "edit" tab on the top of the screen. If you want to take on a problem, simply edit one of the exiting problems and make your response into a reply by adding ":" (without quotes, and an extra colon for each reply) onto the beginning of your text.

The Heart Container does have some restrictions:

  • Do not use The Heart Container to ask wiki usability questions, such as how to make user boxes. Questions belong in Hyrule Castle.
  • Completed problems will be removed periodically. If you would like to see past problems, go here.
  • Remember to sign your problem using --~~~~.

[edit] Tingle's Balloon Fight

I noticed that there is no userbox for owning Tingle's Balloon Fight. If someone could make one, that would be pretty sweet. Thanks. —Alter 01:21, 25 January 2009 (UTC)

I'd be glad to make one. Just give me a few minutes.--Link hero of light 01:41, 25 January 2009 (UTC)

Is this all right?

It's great! Thanks! Is there a guide to make your own userboxes?—Alter 02:40, 25 January 2009 (UTC)

Not that I know of. But here is something one of the sysops, Adam, wrote a while ago:

  1. First, choose a name. This should always be {{Template:User xxxx}} (where xxxx is your description)
  2. To create it, just edit any page (such as the Sandbox), type {{Template:User xxxx}} and preview. This will give you a red link to your desired userbox template.
  3. Then, just copy and paste the code from any other existing userbox. Substitute a new image, text, HTML colour codes, and usage instructions.

--Link hero of light 04:11, 25 January 2009 (UTC)

There's a guide right here. Triforce of ZU and ZI 17:22, 25 January 2009 (UTC)

Sweet! Thanks a million! By the time I'm through, there'll be a UB for everything. ;)

[edit] Onox

P.S. Can someone give me the code for the Veran one?

This user is a fan of Veran.

?—Alter 20:38, 25 January 2009 (UTC)

What code are you referring to?--Link hero of light 22:09, 25 January 2009 (UTC)

The guide says "Copy and paste the code from a similar userbox, and modify the code as you see fit (modify the colors, images, anything else where applicable)" I'm not looking for the User Veranfan one. I'm looking for the HTML code. Basically, I want to make an Onox one, and just replace the image and text. —Alter 23:14, 25 January 2009 (UTC)

w00t! Perfect! Thanks for the code, too! Now I'll be able to make some userboxes! —Alter 16:49, 26 January 2009 (UTC)

No problem. You could have just gone to Template:User Veranfan and edited it to get the coding, as well. -§tigma-231 »[talk][cont] 16:59, 26 January 2009 (UTC)

Sorry, I have no clue what "marks soul" is. If you're referring to an actual Nintendo character, then a link to a Wikipedia article or somewhere with more information would be handy. Adam [ talk ] 10:36, 31 May 2009 (UTC)

[edit] Super Smash Bros (Melee) Stages

Why does each SSB/SSBM stage get it's own page, while stages from SSBB do not, I propose a merge into "Stages in SSB" & "Stages in SSBM" -L285 17:52, 24 March 2009 (UTC)

Yeah, that definitely needs to be done. Only reason I didn't try was that I've never played any of the SSB series. Also, aren't some stages present in more than one of the games? Adam [ talk ] 18:58, 24 March 2009 (UTC)

Yeah, but they can only be put on the page of the earliest game, I'll get to work -L285 16:26, 26 March 2009 (UTC)

[edit] Members From Another Site And Wanted Pages

I would seem that the 'Wanted Pages' are full with links to pages which have not yet been made. To decrease the number of pages within the 'Wanted Pages', I say to un double brack them, and only double brack them if they become a member of Zelda Wiki.org. This will decrease the ammount of 'Wanted Pages', it makes the page look nicer because there is little to no red links within it, and it will make the Wiki itself look nicer and more 'perfect'. I know Mandi and Matt want a perfect Wiki, and so this is a step towards that goal. Austin (The Wiki Ninja) 13:10, 6 April 2009 (UTC)

It sounds like you're suggesting simply removing all the double brackets which created these links, in order to cut down the size of the Wanted pages list. If so, that's just not an acceptable solution I'm afraid. As an analogy, imagine a company deciding "let's just delete all these unanswered emails from customers, they're just cluttering up our inbox". There's a reason most of the stuff on that list is there; because it needs to be written! I've added a section the the wiki's Quality Standards to clarify. (Also, I didn't see anything in your post relating to the "Members From Another Site" part of the header, did you mean to mention something else here as well?) Adam [ talk ] 10:36, 31 May 2009 (UTC)

[edit] Symbols page

I'm new here (I hope I'm doing this right), and I thought it would be cool to have a page with all the symbols that appear in the Zelda series. There are little tidbits of information about a lot of them scattered throughout the site, but I don't think there is one page for all of them. I'm talking about things like the crescent moon and star symbol plastered everywhere in Ocarina of Time, which was replaced with the current Gerudo symbol in later releases of the game. I mean everything from the Triforce to the symbol on the pure metals and the Phantom Sword. The Gerudo's symbol and the Sheikah's eye symbol already have their own pages, and reading them gave me the idea. We could talk about what the symbols stand for, their game of their origins, where they have appeared in the series. We should have images to go along with them; that's essential, I guess.

Some symbols I had in mind are on the pearls in Wind Waker, which match the symbols for the songs on Oracle of Ages. There are some on the Rod of Seasons. The Hylian script should be in there. There are symbols for all of the races in Ocarina of Time on the stain glass depictions of the sages on Wind Waker. Stuff like that.

I hope this idea becomes something awesome. Thanks. Noble Wrot 03:41, 27 March 2009 (UTC)

Oh wow I've been wanting to get on that for so long. But I'm terrible at finding images. Just don't go and make up analysts for each one. That'll lead to a fan ficky page. ;P I'll help gather up some interesting symbols like the symbols for the 4 seasons in OoS, the Maku seed symbols etc, Axiomist (talk) 03:53, 27 March 2009 (UTC)

Oh, I didn't think of the Maku seed symbols. Don't worry. I don't plan to over-analyze anything. I like canon material too much. Every time I see "theories" and "fan speculation" mentioned on this site, I want to strangle someone. I just wish I knew who I should be strangling. Probably you.

I should mention that I can draw the symbols if no official art of them exists. I'd like to draw them regardless.Noble Wrot 04:45, 27 March 2009 (UTC)

I know for a fact that the Maku symbols can only be obtained by drawing them, I have a decent drawing of both from my OoX puzzles. In general fan drawings are out of place here, but I think the symbol drawings will pass muster with the rest of the staff. Glad you agree about all of the theories and fannon, btw we keep a chokeable neck nearby at all times around here, better get a plush animal. Axiomist (talk) 07:11, 27 March 2009 (UTC)

Well, the OoA's and OoS's box art has some drawings of the Maku seeds on them, but all right. If we have to draw them, I doubt we'll have to do it much. A lot of things are easy to find if you remember where you've seen them. I was thinking through all the games, trying to come up with notable symbols, and the only one I can think of from LoZ and AoL is the cross on the shield, the graves, and the item itself. AoL is also where the Triforce is first shown in its familiar pyramidal arrangement and on the back of Link's hand. For ALttP, we have the symbols on the Spell Medallions. We can group those together, I guess. In Link's Awakening, there's a Windfish symbol on the floor in the final boss room, but I don't know if that's notable (still neat looking). OoT has symbols on every one of the Sage Medallions, and the Spiritual Stones seem to match the symbols of the races they belong to. I can go on forever. Here are your seasons symbols and ages symbols. I could keep going all day, but I have a college class to get to. Noble Wrot 16:32, 27 March 2009 (UTC)

Ok, so there are the symbols on the sail in TWW and as well this horseshoe looking thing on the rudder and switches. A similar symbol is on the shields of green Bokoblins, but without the dot in the center. Maybe we should get started. Can someone please remove those symbols from those Ages and Seasons pics? Noble Wrot 01:26, 28 March 2009 (UTC)
So is this going anywhere or what? I think it would be an awesome contribution. Noble Wrot 22:22, 3 April 2009 (UTC)
I have no idea how to cut circles in Gimp, but I'll make the page and you can edit everything in. :P It can't stay an idea forever. Ok, Page is created Symbols Since you seem so determined, I mostly left it alone, this to allow you to shape it up to your vision, Better hurry New pages are likely deleted within days. Axiomist (talk) 04:06, 4 April 2009 (UTC)
Aye, thanks for the help. I shall put my college writing skills to the test, I suppose. I will list names of symbols before I actually get pictures for them. I sure hope it doesn't get deleted. If I don't get this done correctly, someone else is always free to help. This will be my first page. I see you outlined it. Good start. Noble Wrot 05:15, 4 April 2009 (UTC)
I don't believe anyone is going to delete it. So no worries there :)Mandi (T C) 05:40, 4 April 2009 (UTC)
It's shaping up, but it's still in desperate need of images. I'll try to make it a full page within the next few days. I'm trying really hard to stay on track, talking about the origins, meanings, and appearances of the symbols. I'll get to the Sage Medallions and Race Emblems later today. Also, like I said, I will finish all the writing for this before I put in images. If anyone would like to fit some into their proper places, I would greatly appreciate it. Again, this is my first page, so I would like some feedback, too. Thanks. I'm off to bed. Noble Wrot 09:03, 4 April 2009 (UTC)

[edit] Broken picture

on the Slingshot page http://www.zeldawiki.org/Slingshot there is a broken picture. it's a red link near the top that says 'File:Fairyslingshot.gif'. can someone find this picture and fix the link or get rid of the red link. i don't want to get rid of it myself incase it can be fixed. thanks. -doom234 08:32, 12 April 2009 (UTC)

I fixed it up. I got rid of it as the file doesn't exist. It may have been deleted. The image that's there (File:Fairy Slingshot.jpg) is a good one, so it's all good. :) - M E L C H I Z E D E K  (TALK) 09:39, 12 April 2009 (UTC)
Mel, that one was deleted - by you (seemingly because it was a duplicate of File:Fairy Slingshot.jpg.) You need to be careful that images or pages aren't linked to before deleting them ;) Adam [ talk ] 17:06, 12 April 2009 (UTC)
I'm aware that I deleted it, but I wasn't aware of that link. I do make sure I check for such things, but that one must have slipped my attention. Apologies folks. - M E L C H I Z E D E K  (TALK) 07:11, 13 April 2009 (UTC)
I have added the sprite image to the site, would you want to use that? ClusterShart 06:29, 15 April 2009 (UTC)
Give us a link and we'll have a look. - M E L C H I Z E D E K  (TALK) 07:17, 15 April 2009 (UTC)
Are you sure you uploaded the image? I checked through your contributions and couldn't find the file you mentioned. Adam [ talk ] 10:36, 31 May 2009 (UTC)

[edit] Foreign Names

I thought it would be nice to add the foreign names where they exist. For example: Death Mountain is called "Feuerberg" in German, which means "Fire Mountain". I also noticed that the German names are more close to the Japanese original than the English ones. But since I only speak German and English, I would need help with the other languages Japanese, French, Spanish and Italian. I know that the Japanese Names are already on top of some pages but I think it would make sense to add an extra section at the bottom, as Super Mario Wiki already has that and I find very interesting to see how some things are called in other languages and why. Here you can see an example: http://www.mariowiki.com/Dry_Bowser#Foreign_Names Furthermore, it would also make it easier to find certain pages for people like me that haven't played the games in English.

Well, I first wanted to see if you think it's a good idea to add something like this and if others are willing to help. And probably someone also would have to create a template or so. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Nelde (talk) 16:11, 12 April 2009

Hi there, and welcome to the wiki! In terms of German links, we actually already have a partnership with a German Zelda wiki called Zeldapendium, and we recently started including interwiki links to their articles on our pages. We use Template:De to do this, which adds an "In other languages" section at the bottom of the sidebar (look at this article for an example). If you'd be willing to help with this, that would be excellent, as we don't really have anyone here who speaks both English and German fluently (until now ;) Just let me know if you need any help with how the template works.
Regarding the other languages, and the idea of a "foreign names" section, I'm not really sure if we'd want to do this exactly like that. Nobody was very happy at having the German links in the main body of the article, which is why we moved them to the sidebar. Ideally, we'd like to be able to find other thriving Zelda or gaming wikis in other languages and add then add links instead of translations, in the same way as the Zeldapendium project. But I don't think there are any such wikis at the moment... Adam [ talk ] 17:06, 12 April 2009 (UTC)
Ok, I could do that with the links to Zeldapendium. If you explain me how that with the template works. I think the easiest way would be an example. The corresponding article to http://www.zeldawiki.org/Faron_(Spirit) on Zeldapendium is http://www.zeldapendium.de/wiki/Phirone
Now, what do I do? --Nelde 21:28, 12 April 2009 (UTC)
I've added the link. Basically, it's just a case of adding a line to Template:De in the format:
|''Zelda Wiki article''=[[de:''Zeldapendium article'']]
Then, adding a {{de}} tag at the end of the article automatically creates the link specified in the template. It's easiest to add a bunch of links all at once, so you don't have to edit Template:De too many times. Two things to watch out for; try keep the links in the template in alphabetical order, and if the link on the page doesn't work (sometimes titles with special characters don't), swap {{de}} for the the full link using {{de|German article title}}. Let me know if you come across any problems! Adam [ talk ] 21:46, 12 April 2009 (UTC)
Ok, I got it now. Thanks. Btw, Zeldapendium does have these multiple language translation things, so if you're interested in other languages, have a look there. --Nelde 22:28, 12 April 2009 (UTC)

For reference, the wiki now has a defined Language policy. Adam [ talk ] 10:36, 31 May 2009 (UTC)

[edit] TRR Text Dumps

I've got a request- I need the text dump from Tingle's Rosy Rupeeland. I've been unable to find this anywhere on the net, and it would be a great help to me for making TRR articles. If someone knows where I can get the file, or they can rip it themselves, that would be great. Thanks. —Alter 23:40, 24 April 2009 (UTC)

Erimgard uploaded them and posted them here Triforce of ZU and ZI 00:24, 25 April 2009 (UTC)
Ok, thanks a million! —Alter 19:46, 25 April 2009 (UTC)

[edit] Possessives

I was wondering if one version of a possessive link is preferred. For example: Ganon's or Ganon's. I see both used here. Wikipedia says either one is fine, but most links on there are the first type (I think the second looks better, but oh well). Makar Rocks 19:41, 25 April 2009 (UTC)

I do believe the correct way here is with the "'s" outside of the link, Matt does so and he knows the proper policies.Steve 20:08, 25 April 2009 (UTC)
Oh. I was doing it wrong, then. I was thinking of using the figurine template for all The Minish Cap characters/enemies (Dany's putting in up for The Wind Waker characters now), but it uses the 's in the link for the name of the game: Template:Figurine. Probably too trivial a detail to bring up, right? :P Makar Rocks 17:37, 27 April 2009 (UTC)
Um... We typically put it inside the link. Just because it looks better. It is because the software doesn't recognize the apostrophe as something to merge into the link. It is supposed to. But they don't even bother to fix the bug. So I typically put it inside the link and correct it every time I see it outside.Matt (T C F S) 17:52, April 27, 2009 (UTC)
Alright. Thanks for the answer! Makar Rocks 18:06, 27 April 2009 (UTC)

[edit] Link's Mother/Father

In multiple comics, mangas, and even a fre games, there are mentions of Link's parents. My thought is that all of these character should be grouped together on one page (one for mother and one for father), and have it divided up into seperate sections for each. The reason for this being that sometimes the characters have a nice backstory, images, etc., yet they have no name. Also, interested people would have no idea where to search for these people. Who would serious stumble accross Arn if they were looking? What is the communities thought on this? —Alter 02:32, 28 April 2009 (UTC)

Sounds like a good idea to me. I was always doubtful of the validity of these pages when they were created, based on the fact that their names are somewhat tenuous and non-canonical. They information would probably be better served by being grouped as you suggest, maybe even just a single article "Link's Parents" with a section for Mother and Father, each subdivided by game. [edit] Manga article, etc suggestion

In the 'Zelda universe', there are several different kinda of Zelda manga. When most people think of the Zelda manga, they automatically think of Akira Himekawa's works, such as his OoT, MM, OoS works, etc. However there are other Zelda mangas that are authored by different people, such as Ataru Cagiva's Triforce of the Gods, Yu Mishasawa's The Legend of Zelda, and so on.

Our articles only really mention Akira's works specificly. However I would like to see how Bulbapedia does things, I would like to see any reference to the manga works to also mentioned who authored them.

Examples; 'Piyoko is a character from Akira Himekawa's Oracle of Seasons manga.' 'Marin has also made an appearance in Ataru's Cagiva's Link's Awakening manga.' Etc.

Perhaps the same can go for the manga article titles too. They can be moved to 'Triforce of the Gods (Manga) (Akira Himekawa)', especially since there are many ALttP manga works.

So? I would really like to see this happen. The Goron Moron 07:43, 7 May 2009 (UTC)

Agreed, authors should be credited. Axiomist (talk) 07:47, 7 May 2009 (UTC)
What I always do is list the manga that it appears in, with a link to the actual page, where it gives all of the information, authors, etc. If you want to change it, that's fine, but from what I can tell, what I've been doing has worked just fine. —Alter 17:43, 7 May 2009 (UTC)
I think it would be best if you showed me an example of your work... The Goron Moron 20:32, 7 May 2009 (UTC)
Try Piyoko or Dr. Mizumi. Probably the latter, as Piyoko is from the OoS manga, which has little to no info on it. So you'll notice on Dr. Mizumi that it has "first appearance", which is a link to The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (Manga), where it has all of the information on the manga. It will tell you that Himekawa are the authors (yes, two of them), and it is assumed that they are the creators of the character, as it is his "first appearance". Do you understand? —Alter 20:47, 7 May 2009 (UTC)
I checked it out, that seems how I was thinking would be the best way to do it, Alter. I 'spose the issue here then is proper use of the links then. No reason to place the author's name on every article related to his manga. But since I know nothing about them, someone will just have to make sure the manga articles link to the correct page. Axiomist (talk) 05:35, 8 May 2009 (UTC)
In my opinion, I still think it would be good to put the author's name in it... The Goron Moron 05:46, 8 May 2009 (UTC)
I'm not really against it, it's just that i think it would make it a bit more cluttered. Also, we don't list all of the creaors of each game on its page.
Actually, I have a solution- Perhaps we can add an 'author" bar to the template? I would not know how to do this, but perhaps another could. Thoughts? —Alter 04:24, 9 May 2009 (UTC)
The article for each manga already clearly shows the name of the author, so as long as the characters' articles link back there that should be fine. I see no need to note a "creator" for every character, especially since it's an assumption on our part; how can we possibly know if the author came up with the idea directly, or if it was suggested by a coworker/friend/family member... hi, can someone tell me how to have my sig RED and still have it link to my page. i'v looked at that page thats ment to tell you how to do it and i find it a bit confusing. pls help.not red-Doom234 12:30, 13 May 2009 (UTC) 07:08, 13 May 2009 (UTC)
Hi Doom. To set up a custom sig, you'll need to follow the guidelines here. Of course though, this doesn't help you with the wiki coding required to produce your signature in step 2. At step two copy across this coding below to the page. When you complete all of the steps your signature should be how you want it. Let me know if you need further help. The coding is below. - M E L C H I Z E D E K  (TALK) 07:30, 13 May 2009 (UTC)

[edit] Template Question

Hey, would it be possible for someone to add add a "race" "section" on the character boss template? So then it would have name, image, game, race, dungeon, etc. For an example, it would be the template used on Ultra Lord Death Bug. Thanks. —Alter 16:46, 22 May 2009 (UTC)

I don't think that "race" is really a valid piece of information for bosses. The Zelda series has a relatively small set of canonically defined races (see Category:Races), most of which are humanoid. I think what you may be getting at would be, for example, a section on Jalhalla reading "race = Poe". However, I'm concerned that this would inevitably lead to people inventing names for each boss' "race", which would really just equate to a description based on their physical characteristics. Optional fields on templates are misused enough already without us adding more! Perhaps it would be more appropriate to include a comment in the initial descriptive section of boss articles stating which type of enemy (if any) they appear to belong to; that way, we not only include this information, but also bulk out the actual article text, rather than just adding a one-word text box. Adam [ talk ] 10:36, 31 May 2009 (UTC)
I suppose you're right (about the misuse), but there's about a dozen bosses that would have a canical name for their race. If you really don't think it's a good idea, I won't push it, but I think it would work. If it was added into the page's content, I think that it would more or less end up scattered and/or in a different format on a page-by-page basis. —Alter 23:51, 6 June 2009 (UTC)

[edit] Citing a manual

I'm not exactly sure on how to cite a quote from a manual, so could someone enlighten me on how to properly do so? With page numbers and all. Thanks. Dany36 23:46, 10 June 2009 (UTC)

I believe that it is done the same way as normal, but instead of saying who made the statement, put "Link's Awakening Game Manual" for example. Does that answer your question? —Alter 03:45, 11 June 2009 (UTC)
Actually Alter, there is a specific template for citing manuals. Look at the {{Cite manual}} template. There are instructions on that page on how to use it.- M E L C H I Z E D E K  (TALK) 09:12, 11 June 2009 (UTC)

[edit] Fado Page edit

Hi I'm new here and I do have some information regarding Fado that I posted earlier, which was later removed or taken down by someone. I know I'm not the greatest at making wiki articles, but the information posted was true. In fact I am the one that uploaded the Beta model ingame and provided a screenshot. If the content is not written to your guy's standards and I'd be more happy to change it, but to remove the whole article like it doesn't exist, sort of doesn't seem right, as I know more about that model then anyone in Zelda community, I can guarantee that, I spent over 6 months working on it, heck its almost close to a year actually. But any help would be greatly appreciated. —Zeth 20:21, 19 June 2009 (UTC)

I took a look at it, and noticed a few things. One, it probably shouldn't have been removed that quickly. To my knowledge, there was no discussion on it. It was just one member removing it. Two, it really isn't appropriate for the article. I would suggest that you rewrite it in a brief synopsis. Just mention that Zeth (you) found and restored her, and place the rest of the info on your own userpage. —Alter 20:34, 19 June 2009 (UTC)
Ah okay, thank you! I'll make sure to do that.Zeth 20:56, 19 June 2009 (UTC)
How is this? Link to Page Zeth 21:15, 19 June 2009 (UTC)

I think that we should leave names out of it. It doesn't exactly sound right on the article. The page history will still show it was you that added it. And you can put a more detailed description on your userpage, which you can get to by clicking on your own username. I'm going to tweak the article a bit. I think it should be satisfactory.Matt (T C F S) 22:10, June 19, 2009 (UTC)

Yeah, that was me that removed it. Sorry if that was a hasty action, but the way you wrote the sections made it seem more like you were writing an autobiography on how you went about doing this, which is not really what the page is about. I looked at your newest edit to the page, and from what I can tell, it's better than the 1000+ word edit you did hours ago, since its style is more encyclopedic and short to the point. To be honest, I didn't think that a beta model restoration needed THAT much information, much less its own sections. Again, I apologize for the confusion, since I should have elaborated on the Talk page why that was removed. Dany36 22:16, 19 June 2009 (UTC)
Looking good. Nice job, Zeth. —Alter 01:53, 20 June 2009 (UTC)

[edit] Zelda Masterminds Wiki

There has been a lot of talk about whether there should be pages about the masterminds on Zelda Wiki.org. Well, instead of all of it being on ZW, it could all be in a seprate wiki. I give you The Zelda Masterminds Wiki. It is empty, but could be successful if people were to help it out. Everything about the masterminds (except a few things) could be moved to this wiki. That way, the wiki is only full of information about Zelda, instead of countless pages about other sites. So, what do you think? Austin (The Wiki Ninja) 19:16, 30 June 2009 (UTC)

[edit] New Template: Places

Alright...I don't know if I'm posting this in the right section, so if I'm not, then...sorry. XD Anyway, I was wondering if a new template could be made for Places. I've been editing all the articles under the category of Places in Majora's Mask, and I keep thinking how useful it could be in order to make the pages have an even more professional look to them. It could have Name, Game(s), Inhabitant(s), and even Item(s). What do you guys think? Dany36 14:59, 5 July 2009 (UTC)

Excellent idea, let me see what I can whip up... Adam [ talk ] 18:46, 5 July 2009 (UTC)

[edit] Just a sort of little public update

I've created 3 new dungeon templates:

Took a bit of time, but I've also put them up on the respective pages. Since I don't do a lot of actual page editing, I've decided to make my task creating templates. [edit] Hiraganaひらがは

I noticed the wiki has all katakana and all hiragana letters for editing. But it appears that only the katakana is actualy used. If we aren't going to use the hiragana then why do we have it?—Preceding unsigned comment added by Ganondox (talk) 20:04, 19 October 2009 (UTC)

A good suggestion was made for all of those to show up in the Enemy template or whatever rather than in the main body of the article, this way both could be used. Axiomist (talk) 04:01, 23 October 2009 (UTC)

[edit] Zelda Clones

I think that we should have a category for Zelda clones, as in articles for games that are very similar to Zelda. It would provide some information about the game, and have some emphasis on the similarities between said game and Zelda. Besides, it would have more to do with Zelda than some of the other articles on this page (Give me a sex?). I already know some games that would it into this category: Brave Fencer Musashi, Bomberman Tournament, and the upcoming 3D Dot game heroes.

The Game Master 18:03, 30 October 2009 (UTC)

I think this information would fit pretty nicely into this page. I'm not convinced that we need entire articles and a dedicated category for cameo/clone games, but the information would be useful to include along with the current stuff we have there. Adam [ talk ] 00:17, 31 October 2009 (UTC)
Maybe they don't, but I'm saying that they would have more to do with Zelda than some of the other things on this site. The Game Master 03:13, 1 November 2009 (UTC)
