Introduction

This pages list the criteria for an article becoming and staying a Featured Article. Before nominating an article to become a featured article or for disqualification, please read this page.

What to have in an Article

  • The article should have exceptionally fluid American English grammar and spelling. This is because of our Quality Standards. We want a consistent spelling of words throughout Zelda Wiki.org.
  • The article should be long and detailed. Including as much information as possible.
  • The article should be well organized. This means that it should have subdivisions, that is, be divided into sections.
  • The article should have a large number of sources. The accepted number seems to be about eight or more. And the source should be properly cited. See: Citing Sources.
  • The article should contain the most up-to-date information possible.

What not to have in an Article

  • The article should not have or be a duplicate of another article.
  • The article must NOT be copied from Wikipedia, or from any site that does not run the Wiki, under any circumstances!
  • Must not be biased in any way.

Templates in Articles

A featured article should not have any of the following templates in it:

If the article contains one of these two templates, then please address this issue before nominating.

The following templates, while they may seem bad at first, are entirely acceptable. In fact, if appropriate, the article should have these templates in them.
