Zelda Katsu
From Zelda Wiki.org
Zelda Katsu is a team of writers and theorists, originally formed in the forums of Zelda Legends to gather and construct resources for the Zelda community to enjoy. As of early 2008 all of Zelda Katsu's material has been made available on ZeldaInformer. The aim of Zelda Katsu is to act as a group open to exploring all aspects of the Zelda mythos. The main area the group is interested in is the Zelda storyline. To this end, Zelda Katsu has created a reference guide on the numerous games. Further documentation and guides will be made available once they are finished.
As well as these guides, members of Zelda Katsu collect together to work on other projects endorsed by the group. Membership is open to all, and a members involvement on a project can range from participating in discussions for idea generation, to leading and coordinating the project itself. Members should feel free to participate as much or as little as they want.
The group will run numerous projects simultaneously, though they will be limited in number to avoid loss of focus. New projects can be proposed at any time, with the most popular projects being accepted. This way, members can truly determine the direction and focus of the group.

Presentation
The guides and content created by the group is presented fully coded and formatted to make them as accessible and approachable as possible. Instead of the traditional "giant wall of text" layout, the material is often divided into sections and given a table of contents to ease the browsing. These are necessary due to the lengthy nature of most guides. The guides also include colors and images unlike their "old school" counterparts.
History
Zelda Katsu was originally founded by mohammedali, who still acts as its leader and coordinator. The collaboration between Katsu and ZeldaInformer began when ZI webmaster Uncle Meat contacted Ali and suggested combining the efforts of The Bombers and Zelda Katsu. It was soon agreed that the project would be hosted by ZI and together they began work on the project.
Membership and Joining
As stated above, the group is open to all interested in contributing. In order to join, one needs to follow the instructions in this forum post.
There are three types of members in Zelda Katsu. Everyone automatically starts off as a General Advisor after being accepted into the group. Once you are a GA you can apply to be a collaborator. Being a collaborator means that you take part in creating a guide with someone, usually the project leader. Leaders are people who coordinate projects and make sure they get finished on schedule. Active members will eventually be rewarded with staff status by current staff members.
