Introduction

Zelda Cavern was founded by Kyle Bargman in the Year 2000. It was a fairly new site, during the immense Zelda Hype around the release of Majora's Mask and The Oracle Series. It has a fairly large forum with a large userbase, as well as an IRC Network, Northfire and more features.

History

2000 - 2008

To be written.

2008 Onwards

During the first few weeks of 2008, Zelda Cavern decided to merge with Forsaken Legend in an effort to better both sites. The merge was completed within weeks and the forums "Zelda Community" were established. The site has been in the slow lane, as re-adding content from the Old Zelda Cavern and Forsaken Legend takes a lot of time, and because the webmasters are busy with school and family life. The site and it's entire network is planning on having a complete overhaul from June onwards, this involves cleaning up and adding content, fixing up the network state, and creating a simplified networking system, where a user only needs one username and password for the entire network sites including that of the forums. Zelda Cavern is also in the process of getting a new layout, designed once again by Shadow Link; you can view the progress here.

Features

Zelda Cavern has many features from its interactive Game, Venus's Guessing Game to it's IRC Chatroom. It has a brilliant layout designed by Shadow Link, and a large forum called "Zelda Community" with an A Link to the Past Desert Theme. There are many more features to be implemented in the future, such as a Social Networking System, as well as a collaborative Zelda Game, called Zelda RPG (tentative title).

Community

Zelda Cavern has a medium-sized but decent community called "Zelda Community". It is a forum that two sites share: Zelda Oracles shares the forums as well as Zelda Cavern, since their forums were dead due to the hacking of their forums many months ago. It features a plaza system coincidentally called Hyrule Plaza, as well as clans (being revamped) and other great features.
