Oracle series

The Wooden Shield is the L-1 Shield in the Oracle Series. It can be upgraded to the L-2 Iron Shield and later the L-3 Mirror Shield through a Link Password.

Twilight Princess

The wooden shield appears in Twilight Princess and can burn up like the Deku Shield of Ocarina of Time, Link can upgrade to the Hylian Shield later in the game.

Phantom Hourglass

The Wooden Shield also appears in Phantom Hourglass, wherein it appears much like the Hero's Shield from The Wind Waker, with the exception of bearing a lobster symbol in place of the strange birdlike figure, though the Triforce symbol is still evident.
