This item appears in Zelda II: The Adventure of Link, and can be found in the fourth dungeon, Maze Island Palace. These allow Link to walk over certain bodies of water in the Overworld, which primarily enables him to reach the next dungeon, Palace on the Sea. They're known as the "Holy Boots" (聖なるブーツ) in the Japanese game.
