Watchman Erol is a character featured in the Legend of Zelda comic published by Valiant Comics. As his name suggests, he is one of the watchmen of the North Castle. He only briefly appears in He Also Serves.
Biography
When Link suspects that Ganon is trying to enter the castle, he orders Erol to refrain from opening the gate for anyone.[1] However, he accidentally opens it for Ganon, who was disguised as Link, but Ganon barely sets foot inside of the caste before being destroyed due to Erol and Link's quick thinking.[2]
