I joined back in the TWW days, was around March-April in 2003. I was anticipating TWW and so I joined this Zelda forum, though I cannot remember how I found it. I remember accidentally reading spoilers about TWW, so I posted a thread called "Spoiler brats!" or something similar to that, followed by other users telling me that it's my own fault because that section already had spoiler-warnings. My first avatar here was Darth Maul taking off his hood, and my signature was from my online gaming clan. I remember someone saying it was too big.
I remember a guy having a TWW-release countdown in his signature. The really old members I remember is people like that guy with a Dark Link in his signature, and lord-of-shadow before he became a moderator. Also Malony and some girl with Lisa Simpson in her avatar/signature.
After a while I learned the rules, but it took time. I had my spam-times and all that. Eventually this place got hacked and my very first posts were lost forever. I had a period when I renamed to Lord William but then switched back to this name. It used to be William_Zelda4ever, but I changed it to William Zelda4ever. Many seem to think I'm one of those clueless immature kiddies because I replaced the word 'for' with the number 4, but I'm leaving it as it is for nostalgic and classic reasons.
During my time I only wrote in Gamecube Zelda. Eventually I started posting in General Zelda, later in Future Zelda, etc. Now I post in every place here except the Art and Writing place, Battle Arena, Advertising, Temple of Knowledge. So basically my posts have always been restricted to the Community and Zelda boards.
I've been in many flames (have flamed and have been) and have had my interesting Zelda discussions with DrZaius1, lord-of-shadow, and many others. My most interesting Zelda thread was the one where I theorize about how a certain island in TWW is most likely the Kokiri Village from OoT.
This is indeed a nice forum, I consider it my "main" forum. I've never left this place or threatened to. I wouldn't post about it if I did.
Not exactly written from a third-person view, but that's laziness to you...
