Uzuki Cheverie is a writer and an artist who has accounts on multiple sharing sites, under multiple different pennames, including FanFiction.Net, FictionPress.Net, DeviantArt, RateMyDrawings, Zelda Universe, and Youtube. On fanfiction websites, she shares her original Legend of Zelda fanfiction, The Legend of Zelda: Time Gate, which acts as a spin-off to The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask with a very long and complex storyline, which has been in the works for over 2 years. Under the usernames "linkreaper1987" and "Linkreaper", Uzuki Cheverie acts as an artist on RateMyDrawings (linkreaper1987) and DeviantArt (Linkreaper), creating fanart for her own fanfictions of her original characters.
Background
Uzuki Cheverie - real name Jessica Cheverie - began her serious writing debut in 2010, when she stumbled across the FanFiction.Net website after finding a LinkxZelda drawing on DeviantArt that was inspired by a very popular Zelda fanfiction, The Legend of Zelda: The Return, written by Rose Zemlya, a.k.a, "Lady Rose". When she found the site, Uzuki decided to finally make her dream of creating her own Legend of Zelda a reality. Thus, on February 2nd, 2010, the first chapter of Time Gate was submitted.
Uzuki came up with her penname a year before, when she decided that she didn't want to blend in with the rest of society like everybody else.
A year later, when Uzuki submitted her first chapter, she was forced to come up with different last names for the characters which would be based off herself and her friend Sarah. After a bit of thinking, she came up with "Kasahara" for her character, and "Takahashi" for Yashiro's character.
Aside from fanfiction writing, Uzuki has always been a strong fan of The Legend of Zelda, playing the series since she was 4 years old, her first LoZ game being The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time for the Nintendo 64. After playing Ocarina of Time, Uzuki was instantly hooked, and would play for hours on end, even when she couldn't solve puzzles or dungeons without the aid of her older brothers, who had originally introduced her to the series in the first place. Along with Ocarina of Time, Uzuki would also play Legend of Zelda ROMS that she would get her brothers to download, including The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past.
Originally, Uzuki's first idea for an LoZ fanfiction was a mix between The Legend of Zelda and Tales of Symphonia, a Final Fantasy-like RPG for the Nintendo Gamecube, as well as the only video game Uzuki would rank higher than any Legend of Zelda game. As time went on, she added two more stories, both of which would mix The Legend of Zelda, Tales of Symphonia, Kingdom Hearts (a popular Playstation 2 game that mixed Disney/Final Fantasy characters into an original RPG world), and Final Fantasy X/X-2. Eventually, she created Time Gate, which would act as a prequel to what was known as the Fall of the Fairies trilogy, better explaining what happened to Link before he found the worlds of Sylvarant/Tethe'alla, the Disney Worlds of Kingdom Hearts, and Spira.
By the time she published her fanfiction online, she submitted Time Gate on its own, and decided to drop Fall of the Fairies entirely because she felt it would ruin the Legend of Zelda image. It also gave her the opportunity to better familiarize people with the original characters she based on herself, her family, and her friends, and how they interacted with Link after the events of Majora's Mask.
Characteristics
Uzuki Cheverie is a Canadian native of the "Saulteaux" tribe. Living in a small, 2000 population town on Prince Edward Island, she doesn't have many sources to work with in her field of work, including writing, video game design, and her artwork, but she manages to get by none of the less. She is dark-skinned, and has a small scar on the right side of her face that she gave herself after being born. She often likes to wear make-up resembling "matryoshka", and doesn't hesitate to wear clothing that she feels represents her personality, even if others may not agree. She has had a talent for drawing since she was a child, and writing has come up as another one of her skills in the past few years. She has curly dark brown hair that is often frizzy, but every once in a while she will straighten it to look more like her "Uzuki" counterpart.
Due to the stress of being an artist and a writer, and her beliefs on humankind, Uzuki has become somewhat mental over the years, making it hard for her to keep anyone around her. However, she does enjoy having friends, despite her hatred of humans, and tries her best to keep them around by controlling her own insatiable desires.

The second original character created for the Time Gate series, Uzuki Kasahara is a Reaper that Link meets in the Dark Realm after being taken there by Mitsuhiro Minamimoto, one of Uzuki's partners. She explains to Link how Reapers, including herself, came to be in their world, but doesn't seem to remember how she herself died. Mitsuhiro later reveals to her that she was killed in a 'car' accident, and blames himself for her death because he tried to push her way out of the oncoming vehicle (however, what are considered 'cars' in Hyrule at this time are actually machines that researchers retrieved from ruins that were thought to have fallen from the City in the Sky.
Characteristics
Uzuki Kasahara is a Reaper, but in her human form, has a bit of Gerudo blood that skips a generation - therefore, she is the only one her family that looks the way she does, having acquired the blood from her grandmother on her father's side. In her human form, she has dark skin and curly brown hair, and a deep scar on the right side of her face. As a private joke, she also has the Operator Symbol drawn on her left shoulder. In her Reaper form, she has dark skin, and long black hair that she often ties back into a ponytail. She can be often seen holding a vodka cooler or a poorly-prepared cup of coffee in hand, and is often wearing sunglasses to hide her computer eyescreen.

In the prequel to Time Gate: The Child Chapters, Uzuki is a seemingly mild-mannered student at the Hyrule Academy, situated in Hyrule Castle Town. She lives each day with her best friends, Yashiro Takahashi, Saichi Durami, Mikumi Jishiru, and Peter Larken without giving much care for anybody else around her. However, things begin to change when Mitsuhiro Minamimoto, a student who she is not very fond of, starts to cause strange occurrences around her, including the arrival of a strange demon who seems to want to stalk her and her friends. Reaper covers Uzuki Kasahara's story before she is reborn as a Reaper and meets Link in Termina, forcing him into an adventure that will span five whole years. In Reaper, Uzuki is seen a lot more with the rest of her family members, including her two older half-brothers, Mikoshi and Taishou Kasahara, as well as her younger siblings, Chiyo, Kairi, and Shyoto Kasahara. Not much light is shed on her parents during the story at all - this is almost done purposely as to show Uzuki's growing hatred towards them. Even later in the story, after she becomes a Reaper, Uzuki's first two kills are her mother and her father. Taishou and Mikoshi reappear as characters later in The Child Chapters, as members of the infamous "Assassins".

The first 'official' story for Uzuki to appear in, Uzuki is revealed as a Reaper of the Dark Realm when Link is taken to her house where the rest of her companions live by Mitsuhiro Minamimoto. She acts almost like a mother to Link, offering him helpful advice on how to survive in the Dark Realm, how to become stronger, and how to live in a world that demands a 'normal' take on society. She acts almost like the 'housekeeper' of the group, and even brought them together as a team that would be known as the "Time Keepers". Uzuki plays a massive role during the Kyodai no Akuma arc, when Mitsuhiro's inner demon takes over his mind and forces him to flee. Uzuki and the rest of the Time Keepers are then forced to find their leader and bring him back to his humane senses, even when he turns on them. In the end, Uzuki still shows a deep love and passion for Mitsuhiro, and will do anything to protect him.
During Time Gate: The Adult Chapters, Uzuki begins to act a lot more violently towards the group, and learns a lot of secrets concerning her death, including the fact that she was killed in an accident which Mitsuhiro tried to save her from. Although there are a few heartwarming moments between Uzuki and Mitsuhiro, she still has erratic behavior that constantly concerns the group, and it is later revealed that Uzuki has a portion of the Kyodai no Akuma - the same demon that possessed Mitsuhiro - trapped within her soul.

Uzuki's personality takes a drastic turn throughout Apocalypse. Instead of being like a mother, Uzuki acts as a rebel, breaking people out of mental asylums and treating other people the way she feels they should be treated, even if it's like dirt. The group has easily gotten used to her new take on life, mostly because they understand it's probably because of the incident several years earlier, when Mitsuhiro was kidnapped and thrown into a stronghold so dangerous that even she never had any hope to try and break him out. But despite all that, she still tries her best to come up with a plan, which usually involves breaking everybody else out of the asylums so that she can band them together and break into the most dangerous asylum in Hyrule.
In Cataclysm, the mirroring story that takes place in the "good" timeline, Uzuki still seems to share her same psychotic personality

In the split timeline of Time Gate that follows the "good" ending, Uzuki is married to Mitsuhiro Minamimoto, and leads her life as a housewife and mother to her daughter, Miyumi. While she has her life at home, Uzuki still finds some free time to train out of sight from her unsuspecting daughter, and is one of the only ones aware of Link's disappearance as well as his double-life as a teacher at the Hyrule Academy.
Upon meeting with Link again, Uzuki agrees to aid him in the search for his son, Seraph, which also forces her to reveal to her daughter the life she lead prior to her marrying Mitsuhiro and living a regular life in Hyrule Castle Town as a parent and wife.

- Uzuki's name is derived from The World Ends With You, a popular Nintendo DS game developed by Square Enix. One of the Reapers' names is "Uzuki Yashiro"; there is also a character in Time Gate named "Yashiro", who happens to be based off Uzuki Cheverie's childhood friend, Sarah Cheverie.
- Uzuki is featured as a Battle Arena character in the Crossroads at Zelda Universe, and is used by the same user, Uzuki Cheverie.
