I create you. Mwah-ha!
Well, I am undertaking a Relationships project, in light of rampant fandom. My goal is to extract the wanton shipping and speculation from Zelda_Wiki.org, replacing it with cold, hard FACT. Soon I want to start on a Theories article, so it stays out of others.
SO BASICALLY:
- Keep non-canon shipping down to a minimum. This is my number one bother. Why destroy a perfectly good article with your "OMG IT'S x AND x!!!!!!" No. Wrong.
- I love canon. I love canon-y canon. I'd eat it for breakfast if I could. So when I see something not-canon, I will not tolerate it.
MY PERSONAL TEN COMMANDMENTS:
I. Thou shalt not edit articles for your own shipping purposes.
II. Thou shalt cite thy sources, if material is thus objectionable.
III. Thou shalt not begin an edit war.
IV. Thou shalt remember that thou art not a video game character, and wouldst write in a primarily out-of-universe style.
V. Thou shalt use proper grammar and spelling, no matter what thou doest.
VI. Thou shalt remember what canon is, and obey it.
VII. Thou shalt not CTRL+C from Wikipedia.
VIII. Thou shalt remember that strategy guides, directors and producers, and Nintendo itself are oft wrong, and retcon.
IX. Thou shalt not cite fansites.
X. Thou shalt pronounce it "sigh-v". Or elseth.
