Anyway my names Paul, born in 86, I live in England and no before anyone asks I’m not from London and I don’t have a posh accent. One thing people may notice about me is that despite going to University to study English, I always seem to make typing errors such typing witch instead which. I am also studying two other courses at Uni which are Maths, specialising in Trigonometry and Physics. That's all I can think right now but I’ll put more at a later date.

Me and the Zelda wiki
I originally joined Zelda wiki on the 7th January 2007 while trying to find a guide for the locations of the Poe’s on Twilight Princess. While reading through the articles I noticed that there weren’t much information on the game as a whole so I decided to add articles that were missing such as Roll goal and reekfish. For a period of time I stopped editing on Zeldawiki to concentrate on College work and then University work but I am currently trying to update and improve the Super Smash Bros section and add galleries to the dungeon pages, as well as general improvements.

Me and the Zelda games.
My first ever experience of the Zelda universe was not the games but in fact the Cartoons from the early 90’s. At the time didn’t know that these cartoons were based on a video game. It wasn’t until Christmas 1994 when I had been given a Game boy as a present, with Alien 3, Kirby’s Dream Land and Zelda Link’s Awakening, that I finally got into the whole Zelda craze. The game actually took me about 4 months to complete mainly because of been stuck at the racoon part at the beginning. This was in actual fact the longest time it took me to complete any Zelda game.
After that I played A Link to the Past for the first time on the Snes that same year (1995). Which only took me about 3 weeks to finish despite being longer and harder. At some point between 1995 and 1998 I played the first two Zelda on the Nes.
In 1997 me and my older Brother brought the Nintendo 64 with Lylat Wars 64 (Starfox64 in US) and Goldeneye. I never thought that Nintendo would release another Zelda Game again after the huge jump to 3D the N64 did and couldn’t ever see how it would work, but of course it work perfectly! I can’t remember how I heard about the game but I can remember having it for my 12th Birthday (23rd December 1998). To date there have only ever been three games that I have played for more then 8 hours in one day and Ocarina of Time is one of them (the other two are Twilight Princes and Shenmue). Even today when I boot it up again I can still feel the same excitement as when I first played it.
A few years later I saw the first images for what would become Majora’s Mask and instantly added to my wish list. Sadly the game needed the Expansion pack, which in England at the time had become almost impossible to get. So I had to wait another five months to get one. The game to me never really felt fresh and I for one could never see what difference the Expansion Pack made.
I was luckily enough to be able to afford both Season and Ages for the gameboy colour to which can in a box set. My personal favourite is Ages. In 2001 I saw the Tec demo for the GameCube which showed a fantastic looking Zelda game which I thought would be the new Zelda. But to my surprise and properly the rest of the world, Nintendo showed a demo that would become the Wind Waker. I can always remember how disappointed I felt and in some ways let down, but still thought that maybe being a Zelda game it would be that bad. Sadly I was wrong. At the time I believed that the games series I had come to love was going down a steep slope. Even today I feel disappointed by the game and at the time. Things looked better with the release of the Minish Cap to which I found the Cel shading look fitted well.
When the Twilight Princess was announced I for one was knocked for six when I saw the first trailer. It looked like the Zelda game I had been waiting since 1998. And when it finally got released I played it almost none stop.
I imported Super Smash Bros Brawl form the USA back in March 2008 and always enjoyed beating the life out of Sonic with Link but sadly this fun was halted with the new Wii upgrade that stops import games being played. I have since brought the Pal version.
Today I wait for the unveiling of the next Zelda game at E3 in July 2008.
