King-X originally went by the name "Zelda-King" during his tenure at HTLOZ. His name later changed to "King" while he ran Gamer Crossfire, followed by "King-X," which has remained his alias to this day.

King-X is known for many achievements, the first of which was the role of "forum watchdog" for the original HTLOZ forums. He created the Gamers Talk Elite (GTE) forums, which later became the de-facto HTLOZ refuge. In 2002, Gamers Talk Elite became Gamer Crossfire (GXF) and continued to serve as a refuge for HTLOZ forum members. When HTLOZ II launched in 2005, Gamer Crossfire was closed. King-X reopened Gamer Crossfire the following year with the intention of operating it as a true gaming community, rather than a refuge, but closed the site again by the year's end.

Currently, King-X serves as administrator for the Ganon's Tower forums.
