In Oracle of Ages, the Tune of Ages, also known as the "Tune of Time," is the third, and last, tune that Link learns for the Harp of Ages. Nayru teaches it to the young hero when he rescues her from Veran's grip.
The Tune of Ages unlocks the full power of the Harp. It allows Link to freely travel between the past and present ages. When he plays this tune, he immediately reverts to the opposite age, no matter the location. However, if he cannot land in that space in the opposite age, he will be sent back. For instance, if he plays the tune in the Present and there's a tree in the Past, Link will be sent back to the Present (and vice-versa).
Trivia
- The symbol for this tune is the symbol of the Zora race and the same symbol that appears on Nayru's Pearl in The Wind Waker.
