Template:Featured Picture

Here users can nominate and vote for ZW.org's next featured picture. Suitable candidates should be high quality, Zelda-related images. Do not nominate an image that does not have at least one image template to describe its source and copyright information.
They may be deemed worthy of being featured by merit of an important or rare subject, or simply for being visually interesting.

Please nominate pictures below this passage in a new subtopic,
with the picture title as the subtopic's name and the image below: [[Image:image name|thumb|right]].

Rules:

  1. A picture needs TEN VOTES in its favor in order to be marked as featured.
  2. You may make a maximum of one vote per month.
  3. You may not vote for a picture which you have nominated, or for which you have already voted previously.
  4. Votes should be added in order directly beneath the relevant nomination, with # at the beginning of the line.
  5. A maximum of six Currently Nominated images are allowed at any given time. Please do not nominate a new image if there are already six nominees.
  6. ALL votes and nominations MUST be signed using --~~~~. If you do not sign your opinion or second, your vote WILL NOT be counted!
  7. Be sure to include in your vote WHY you feel that something should / shouldn't be featured.

Proper Opposition Guidelines:

  • If a particular image isn't to your liking, is just your least favorite of the current selection, or you don't like the subject, please DO NOT add an opposition vote. Opposition votes should be used wisely, and not liking the style or subject of a particular image is not why it can't be featured. Examples of justifiable reasons for opposition are as follows:
"It's incredibly low-resolution."
"It's just too blurry."
"We already have several very similar images featured."
Remember that these are just examples, and not the only kinds of valid votes.
  • If an administrator determines that a particular vote does not follow these guidelines, that admin will negate the vote so that it does not count.
