Talk:Water Temple
From Zelda Wiki.org
- As far as I can tell, the last statement in the trivia section is wrong. Here is a transcript of everything said by the three Zora at the entrance to the Lakebed Temple, the only reference of note beinbg when Zora 3 refers to the Zora Temple. I've checked the speech of all the other Zora's in the game, nothing that matches the statement in the article. Unless this can be substantiated, I'll remove it. --Adam 16:37, 6 October 2007 (EDT)
HYLIAN ZORA #1 Sir, you wear the garb of the hero in my people's legends... Are you, perhaps...? Well met! I, dear hero, am a maker of bombs. Pardon me for asking... Have you heard of water bombs? They are very dangerous indeed, but you should be able to master them. I am sure you would find them quite useful. How would you like to buy some of my handmade water bombs for 90 Rupees? Hmm?
(Don't buy.) Is that so... Well, let me know if and when you have need of a bomb that explodes underwater.
Well, just for you, I would part with these water bombs for 90 Rupees. What do you say?
(Buy!) Let me put these in your bag... If you ever run out of water bombs, please come back for more.
HYLIAN ZORA #2 Can you see the bubbles rising from the depths? It's dangerous to swim too close. That current is strong enough to carry away most people...
HYLIAN ZORA #3 The place beyond this rock is sacred to my people. It was once called the Zora Temple. But now it has been overrun by monsters... They're everywhere... All we could do was seal them in so they do not bring darkness to others...
The temple inside is nothing but a nest of darkness now! You must not enter! ...Did you really do it?
The creatures of darkness have made the inside of this temple their home. It's dangerous, so I must ask that you turn back.

I support this. I have not heard anything in the game where they mention that.

Yeah, I'm in favour of deletination of that line. I cannot remember that line at all (and I have a good memory when it comes to these things), and it's an affront to the English language. DESTROY! --Sturs 20:10, 22 October 2007 (EDT)
New trivia section line
"It's possible to become permanently stuck by opening the doors in the wrong order, requiring you to revert to a previous save or start the whole game over."
I don't remember this being possible. Every time I go through that temple I take a different path, and I've never gotten stuck, nor have I heard of anyone doing so (not to mention that Nintendo's been pretty good about designing dungeons so that this doesn't happen). So has anyone here ACTUALLY gotten stuck in the Water Temple? --Ando (Talk) 20:55, 10 March 2008 (EDT)
That's never happened to me. I've gotten stuck on where to go sometimes but not literally being unable to complete it.--Green 22:18, 10 March 2008 (EDT)
I found myself in that position yesterday, but (Thanks to UncleMeat and a few other ZeldaWiki members) I managed to get out of that situtation by lowering the water level. Bottom Line: It is NOT possible to become permanetly stuck. ZeldaGirl96 17:46, 4 July 2008 (UTC)
