Big Change

Okay, so I drastically changed the page. I plan on merging the Blue, Red, and Green Potion articles here, as well as correcting the image format errors. I think this merge is for the best, but if you disagree, discuss here (or also discuss if you agree, and want to add something). It's a stub because I know for a fact I didn't put anything abouth potions from Link's Awakening, the Oracle games, and Four Swords (if there are potions in those games), since I haven't played them. I have a feeling I missed something from the other games too. I'd continue to merge but I'm tired and have to go to sleep. So, whenever and if you see this... Discuss. I think that's a good idea, but are you going to mention chu jelly from Twilight Princess?--Green 01:45, 14 January 2008 (EST)
I think that ought to get a brief mention, with a link to the main article. One suggestion; while you're working on the article, could you maybe italicise the game names please? --Adam 01:56, 14 January 2008 (EST)

I am aware of there being a potion of sorts in Link's Awakening. You buy it from Crazy Tracy and it would automatically refill your hearts if you lost all your hearts. --Pluto 03:54, 14 January 2008 (EST)
I just realized that there is one of a similar nature in the Oracle games that you buy from Syrup the Witch.--Pluto 03:57, 14 January 2008 (EST)

I've added both as "Magic Potion". A specific name isn't technically given to the potion in LA (unless I'm mistaken), but because such a similar potion appears in the Oracles, I gave it the same name anyway. Since that was the main reason for the stub template, I've removed it. --Douken 11:28, 9 February 2008 (EST)

OK, so merge mainly complete; I'm only missing Blue Potion. I just don't know what to do with the extra images, since 5 Green Potion images for one paragraph is very excessive. So the images don't fade into oblivion, and so we decide what to do with them here, I put them here. Image: Red Potion PH.gif Image:Greenpotionww.png Image:Potiongreenmm.jpg

Now, other than the merge, there is other information I would like to put on the page: where the potions can be bought/obtained and for how much rupees in each game. The Red Potion page didn't contain any of that, the Green Potion some, and the Blue Potion more, but it's still incomplete. I'll try to fill in those I know after (though I'll merge the Blue Potion first), but I certainly don't know all. So, if you know any (or any other info that might be useful to the page), put it in. I mean, duh, it's a wiki, that's the point. :P -- Memo326 23:26, 14 January 2008 (EST)

I don't know if putting the price would be a good idea. IMO it's too much information. Over time most of the article would just become the prices.--Green 23:59, 14 January 2008 (EST)
I think if it's possible to get full information on the costs, it may be interesting for comparative purposes, and needn't necessarily clutter the article.. The headers could be moved up from <h3> to <h2> to delineate each section with a horizontal line, then the costs could be places under a separate sub-header. PS good job so far! --Adam (talk) 00:50, 15 January 2008 (EST)
I think it would be alright if it was just from a game or two, or just in general, as long as every potion isn't given its own full list featuring five-or-so different games with multiple locations in each. (Then again, if someone could form an interesting section based on the pricing and locations alone... That might be worth seeing, but it's unlikely someone could pull that off.) --Douken 11:28, 9 February 2008 (EST)
