Real Name?

Isn't their name Garo Robe? Even though they're ninjas the semi-gibdo father said their is Garo Robe.

That is the ghost of a ninja. Its scientific name is Garo Robe. . --Icytriforc—Preceding undated comment added on 22:04, January 23, 2008 (UTC)

All I can say is that's true.

What I think is that Garo Robe is the name of their race, and Garo Ninja is their class. --Yuvorias—Preceding undated comment added on 11:55, March 22, 2008 (UTC)

He says their scientific name is Garo Robe and the scientific name is always different to the name people normally call them just a thoughtGaradex 16:56, 14 August 2008 (UTC)

Garo should be considered as a race?

Garos are one of the few enemies that can talk. And they're widely thought to be a Race... Deku scrubs can talk and now they're considered a race as opposed to an enemy. The only reason they attack you is cause you are an imposter. So shouldn't Garo be considered a race? Onyx 23:41, 15 August 2008 (UTC)

I believe Garos should be considered as a race.CoreyPotter 01:29, 16 August 2008 (UTC)

Perhaps this statement from Pamela's Father will help:

That is the ghost of a ninja. Its scientific name is Garo Robe. They are merely shells that are empty on the inside. They're the shells of spies from an enemy nation sent to investigate Ikana. They have been unable to forget their living days. Even now their spirits--emptiness cloaked in darkness--continue to spy.

Pamela's Father (Majora's Mask)

They are definitely a unique group of people. According to Pamela's Father, they are from another nation. They could very well be different race from the people of Clock Town. I'm all for it. If anything, it is a spin-off race. They are certainly unique now. Their ability (willingness?) to talk is a rare. Few minor enemies do this. This is a ability typically reserved for bosses. Of course, the bosses of Link's Awakening are not the most talented of speakers. I'd say we should do it. Create a page Garo and add as much information to it as we can. I know a lot (because I liked this game so much that I played it over thirty times) so I can add quite bit.Matt (T C F S) 01:58, August 16, 2008 (UTC)
