Staltroops are specialized enemies that appear only during Link's battle with Stallord at the Arbiter's Grounds in Twilight Princess.[1]

Characteristics and Weaknesses

Staltroops are similar in appearance to ReDead Knights, however, their passive temperament and overall slighter form, as well as their endemicity to Stallord's chamber at the Arbiter's Grounds, can be used as distinguishing factors between the two. These foes seem to materialize from the sand in waves, forming barricades with their own bodies to deflect Link's Spinner as he attempts to reach Stallord's vulnerable spine. Although a single hit reduces them to sand, these foes respawn at an infinite rate; their purpose is only to deter Link from defeating Stallord, not to attack.

  1. "The Staltroops are Stallord's minions: resurrected warriors with no intelligence. They are simply obstacles to your goal, which is striking the Stallord's weak spine. Avoid them, and if you're standing on the sand (because your Spinner slowed down too much) roll back up to the groove, and avoid the Staltroops."
