To obtain the Snowshoe Ring, first talk to and receive a password from Mamamu Yan's mother in Spool Swamp during a password-linked game of Oracle of Seasons. Then, tell that password to Mamamu Yan in Lynna City in Oracle of Ages and complete the following minigame.

When worn, this particular ring stops Link from sliding on frozen floors. This ability can be helpful in several dungeons, particularly Sword & Shield Maze.
