Shell Spinners are a type of enemy similar to the Spiked Beetle in its method of attack and the way it is defeated. Shell Spinners attack by spinning around and ramming into Link, they can only be defeated by slamming the ground near them, exposing their tender under bellies. After this they can be killed by use of any weapon, though the sword or hammer are recommended.
