Secret Shrine

The Secret Shrine is a hidden place in Majora's Mask. Found in Ikana Canyon, it is accessible after Link has obtained the Light Arrows.

Arriving at the Secret Shrine, Link once again came to meet the Poe salesman, who informed Link that the Shrine was full of creatures that were eagerly awaiting a rematch with Link; three Dinofols, a Wizrobe, a Wart and a Garo Master. Taking the Poe salesman's challenge, Link once again defeated the creatures, sending their souls onwards.

Once again, the Poe salesman was very impressed with Link's work. Leaving Link with his reward, a Piece of Heart, the Poe Salesman once again disappeared.

History

The exact age of the Secret Shrine remains unknown, but it is likely old enough to rival the age of Ikana Castle or Stone Tower. It may hold magical properties, as the Poe salesman mentions, indirectly, that these are the same enemies Link fought in their respective temples. However, this may simply be the power of the Poe salesman.

Trivia

• Every so often, a glitch will occur in the Secret Shrine where after Link has overcome the four battles, the Poe Salesman will not reappear. Once this has happened, the only way to reverse the glitch is to reverse time.
