The Chris Houlihan Room is a very well-hidden secret of the game A Link to the Past. After winning a contest for the gaming magazine Nintendo Power, he received the grand prize that can be considered a Zelda Fan's Dream come true: A cameo appearance in the game "A Link to the Past". In order to reach this room, a series of well-timed dashes using the Pegasus Boots starting from the Sanctuary all the way to the secret entrance from the first time you entered Hyrule Castle's dungeon are required. If executed correctly, the player will find themself in an underground room with 45 blue Rupees scattered all over the floor. A plaque on the back wall, when read, displays the message "My name is Chris Houlihan. This is my top secret room. Keep it between us, okay?"
