Salvatore runs the Sinking Ships minigame on Windfall Island, and also the Barrel Shoot minigame on Spectacle Isle. To fit in with the pirate-theme of his games, he introduces them with a routine in which he pretends to be Tetra or a fearsome pirate captain (using wooden cutouts which he pokes his face through, and putting on a pirate voice). Aside from when he's using the wooden cut-out pictures, he is very unenthusiastic about the job.

Salvatore appears in Phantom Hourglass, running a cannon minigame. Salvatore has his very own trophy in Super Smash Bros. Brawl.

Long ago, Salvatore hoped to be a famous painter, but that dream didn't last long. He eventually returned to his hometown and came up with his current business plan. It's been a huge success, allowing him to purchase his own island, where he has opened up a second store in what he hopes will become a huge chain. He's now busy trying to think up that one idea that will spark his next big endeavor.

A guy who runs the minigame where you try to sink groups of giant squid with a set number of shots for prizes. Not only is the game fun, but his little one-man play using the funky little illustrated props leaves quite an impression. If you say you didn't understand his explanation, the expression on his face is priceless.
