The Roc's Feather is an item that allows Link jump over single holes. (In Link's Awakening, you can jump over two holes with it if you're talented enough.) In many games this item is combined with Pegasus Boots or Seeds, in order to jump multiple holes at once. In Oracle of Seasons this item is stolen from you by the Strange Brothers. You have to follow them without them seeing you to see where they will hide it.

Believed to be named after the Roc, a mythical bird of enormous size and strength.

In Oracle of Seasons, it is in Poison Moth's Lair. In Oracle of Ages, it is in Wing Dungeon. In Link's Awakening, it is in Tail Cave. It is also in Four Swords Adventures.

Roc's Cape

The Roc's Cape is an item that allows you to jump and glide over holes. In Oracle of Seasons it is a L-2 Roc's Feather hidden in Explorer's Crypt. In The Minish Cap it is a separate item that is hidden in the Palace of Winds, as no Roc's Feather exists within the game. The Roc's Cape is also in Four Swords.

Trivia

• Although brown in its debut appearance in Link's Awakening, the Roc's Feather later becomes blue in the Oracle series.
