Renado (γ¬γγΌγ, Renaado) is a shaman in Twilight Princess. He lives in Kakariko Village with his daughter Luda, and it is he who finds the children from Ordon Village and shelters them. After Ilia and the Zora Prince come to the village, he takes care of both of them, and helps Link as much as he can. Telma has a thing for him...and when he gives you his letter for her, he specifically says he doesn't want to see her. He also seems to have a relationship with Bo, mayor of Ordon Village.
Many people believe that Renado is a member of the Sheikah tribe, due to certain characteristics. However, he does not react or respond when shown the Sheikah statue or show any signs of recognition when Gor Coron describes the Sheikah tribe's history whilst in Renado's company. It is possible he is a descendant of the Sheikah, but does not know it. Renado also has dark skin and brown eyes, which may hint at some possible Gerudo ancestry as well. His clothes are eerily similar to that of Zant.
Glitches
An interesting "glitch" in the game is that by rolling into Renando you can force him in to the pool behind the spirit lake, watch him fall to the bottom and by using the iron boots and the Zora armor you can speak to him at the bottom of the lake to find he doesn't react to being submerged.
