In Four Swords Adventures, the Pyramid is the final level in the Desert of Doubt, coming after the Desert of Doubt and the Desert Temple. This large monolith reminiscent of the Ancient Egyptians is said to have been constructed by the ancestors of the Zuna.
This pyramid is filled with slow-moving, yet dangerous Gibdos and puzzles which Link must complete to reach the boss that lurks deep within this ancient tomb. Shadow Link turns up to terrorize with Giant Bombs once again. After Link defeats the Big Moldorm, he rescues the Purple Shrine Maiden. With the inclusion of the Purple Maiden, all six Maidens call Zelda to determine her location. However, before Link rescues the Maiden, he realizes that the Trident is missing from its resting place in the Pyramid. The maidens believe the one behind its robbery is Ganon.
Force Gems are rather abundant in this area, with the 2000 needed to charge the Four Sword obtained quickly. The Big Key unlocks a chest containing a rare Force Gem worth 1000.
