Postwhore

A 'postwhore' (alternatively 'post whore') is someone who posts on a forum just to increase their own post count. Though sometimes someone who posts solely to increase their post count will make good contributions, most often, posts don't express any thought whatsoever, sometimes with the member even admitting they don't have anything to contribute in the post.

The postwhore problem was reduced slightly by changing of the rules for attaining a custom rank.

Postwhores are usually newbies, who don't realize that a big post count does not gain them acceptance in the community.
