The third Dungeon in Oracle of Seasons is the location of the Roc's Feather. This dungeon's boss is Mothula. After defeating Mothula, Link obtains the third Essence of Nature. Its location is in the northern region of Spool Swamp, in the mid western region of Holodrum. The only access to the dungeon lies in the emergence of vines to its entrance in the summer.

The engravings above the entrance to the lair (a picture of Mothula) was most likely an ancient warning to those who had seen the fearsome creature in the past. The traps, treasures, and puzzles located in the dungeon obviously imply that a sentient race dwelt here before the area was overrun by local creatures, most likely as a dwelling place from the hostile marshlands outside.
