The Pickit Plant hops around the screen, and when Link gets close it extends its tongue to steal from him. Pickit Plants can be found all over the Dark World and should be kept at a distance if Link is saving up rupees. They will also try to take shields, leading to speculation that they may be related to Like Likes.
