The Pan European Game Information Board is in charge of rating the Games played in Europe similarly to the ESRB. The ratings are as follows
- 3+
Titles rated 3+ have content that may be suitable for ages 3 and older. Contains no material that parents would find inappropriate.
- 7+
Titles rated 7+ have content that may be suitable for ages 7 and older. Titles in this category may contain minimal cartoon, fantasy or mild violence and/or infrequent use of mild language.
- 12+
Titles rated 12+ have content that may be suitable for ages 12 and older. Titles in this category may contain violence, suggestive themes, crude humor, minimal blood and/or infrequent use of strong language.
- 16+
Titles rated 16+ have content that may be suitable for persons ages 16 and older. Titles in this category may contain intense violence, blood and gore, sexual content, and/or strong language.
- ADULTS ONLY
Titles rated 18+ have content that should only be played by persons 18 years and older. Titles in this category may include prolonged scenes of intense violence and/or graphic sexual content and nudity.
- TBC
Titles listed as TBC (To Be Confirmed) - have been submitted to PEGI and are awaiting final rating. (This symbol appears only in advertising prior to a game's release.)
