Biography
The Old Wayfarer is an old man who resides in a small home on Bannan Island. He seems to be obsessed with mermaids and has dedicated his life to finding one. He has a wife and a son, Romanos, who both live on Molida Island.
The Old Wayfarer is part of two sidequests:
- The Mermaid Sidequest, a small sidequest in which Link must introduce the Old Wayfarer to a fake mermaid in order to get the fishing rod. If Link brings him a Loovar fish, the young hero will receive the Big Catch Lure, which lets him catch bigger fish.
- The Trading Sequence, where he will bestow upon Link the Swordsman's Scroll in exchange for a Wood Heart.
Trivia
- When Link stands in front of the Old Wayfarer and talks to him, a decoration behind him closely resembles Kotake.
