Mute City (short for Mutant City) is Captain Falcon's home stage in Super Smash Bros. A recreation of the Mute City 1 racetrack from F-Zero X, it is one of the game's beginning playable stages. Players face Captain Falcon and his teammates here in All-Star Mode.

Characteristics

The stage begins at the race's starting line with a sign saying "GO!!!" Battle takes place on platforms that hover above the track or on the track itself. Getting hit by a car or touching the track while the platform is moving will both result in damage. Near the end of the stage, the platform also flies over open space, resulting in immediate death if a character falls off. The stage ends at the finish line of the race.

Trivia

• The race cars in Mute City can be destroyed if players attack them with explosives, immovable Pokemon, or power attacks such as the Hammer.
