Morths are immature Mothula found in The Wind Waker, often in swarms.

Habitat: Forbidden Woods Least Favorite Thing: Deku Leaves These creatures attack in groups and cling to the bodies of their prey. A Spin Attack is the best way to shake them off. They're light and vulnerable to Deku Leaf blasts. |
Characteristics and Weaknesses
If several Morths latch on to Link, they will hamper his movements. Morths are otherwise passive. Link can easily free himself by using the Spin Attack or just by rolling. They are easily dispatched of with the Boomerang if they aren't latched on to Link.
Morths are similar in behavior to the Poison Mites and Ghoul Rats of Twilight Princess.
Trivia
- Morths greatly resemble Gordos from the Kirby series.
