The Mini Freezard is a miniature version of the larger Freezard which can be found in the Snowpeak Ruins dungeon in Twilight Princess. Smashing a large Freezard with the Ball and Chain will yield about five Mini Freezards, although these tiny enemies can also be found scattered around the dungeon, usually in groups of about five to seven. Mini Freezards cannot blow icy breath like large Freezards, but instead will slide across the floor towards Link, freezing him if he touches one.
Link's sword can be used to defeat Mini Freezards, but it takes about three hits, and each slash will send them flying across the floor and bouncing off walls, potentially right back into Link. The Ball and Chain is the best and most effective way to kill these enemies, though using arrows is also effective.
Similar to large Freezards which look like adult Sheegoths, these smaller ones are of a similar shape to another creature from Metroid Prime, the Zoomer.
