Mamamu Yan

Mamamu Yan (ママム・ヤン, Mamamu・Yan) is a dog-loving woman found in three games in the The Legend of Zelda series.

Ocarina of Time

• Although un-named, she is the woman in Hyrule Castle Town who has lost her dog. If Link returns the correct dog (a white one, from behind a stall), she will reward him with a piece of heart. She can later be seen in Kakariko Village when Link is an adult.

Majora's Mask

Mamamu Yan is seen in Majora's Mask. She owns many dogs, and is found with them at her very own Doggy Racetrack. The racetrack is located within Romani's Ranch outside of town. If you place a bet with her, she will allow you to place that bet on the dog that you believe will win the race (this is made easier by using the Mask of Truth).

She is the Terminan counterpart of the lady who gives you a Piece of Heart after delivering her dog to her in Hyrule Castle Town. This lady is one of the survivors who flee to Kakariko Village after the castle town was destroyed in the future.

Oracle of Ages

Mamamu Yan also plays a part in the Oracle of Ages trading sequence, giving link the Dumbbell in return for the Doggie Mask.
