Maku Road,[1] also known as Maku Path,[2] is a small cavern in Oracle of Ages. It serves as the only available passage around the gate to reach the Maku Tree.

Features and Overview[]

The Maku Tree is sealed off from the rest of Lynna with a large gate which can only be opened from the inside. The cave itself is a small pseudo-dungeon, featuring a few weak monsters and a handful of simple puzzles. It is Link's first real trial in Oracle of Ages.

Maku Road is essentially the equivalent of Hero's Cave found in Oracle of Seasons. In a Linked Game, a more challenging version Hero's Cave will appear as a detour on Maku Road.
