Magunesu, or Magnes (also known by some fans as Magnite) are odd creatures that are native to the land of Holodrum in Oracle of Seasons. The Magunesu is a disk-like creature with two faces, a blue face and a red face, each one side of the same coin. Each face has a different magnetic polarity than the other, the Northern red face attracted by Southern polarity while the Southern blue face is attracted by Northern polarity. It will regularly change faces, to confuse a traveler who might use a certain polarity against them. When they change their polarity, they will spit a fireball at Link, often used when fleeing from his blade. A conjunction of the Magnetic Gloves and Link's sword in tandem is vital to beat these unusual monsters.
Trivia
- Magunesu is one of the few enemies exclusive to Oracle of Seasons and does not appear in Oracle of Ages. Kyandokyan on the other hand is exclusive to Ages and does not appear in Seasons.
