Title Deed

The Title Deeds are found in Majora's Mask and are required to complete the Majora's Mask Trading Sequence. To obtain the first Title Deed, the Land Title Deed, Link must give the Moon's Tear to the Clock Town Business Scrub; however, this is the only Title Deed that is mandatory in order to progress through the game. The rest of the deeds are optional, and they all yield an opportunity to obtain an otherwise unreachable Piece of Heart. There are a total of four Title Deeds, each obtained by trading previous Title Deeds with the other Business Scrubs using the appropriate mask. As is the case with many items, Title Deeds are lost upon playing the Song of Time to return to Day 1.

Types of Deed and Function

Land Title Deed

The Town Title Deed is an item in Majora's Mask used in a long series of trades. In the beginning of the game, Link must trade the Deku in South Clock Town a Moon's Tear for his Land Title Deed Deed. This in turn allows him to fly to the Clock Tower to be able to proceed in the game.

Swamp Title Deed

The Swamp Title Deed is a land deed for a Golden Deku Flower located in the Southern Swamp. It is received after giving the Land Title Deed to the Deku Scrub outside the Swamp Photo Tour Kiosk as young Link.

Mountain Title Deed

The Mountain Title Deed is a land deed for a Golden Deku Flower located in the Goron Village of the Snowhead area. It is received after giving the Swamp Title Deed to the Deku Scrub near the Goron Shrine. The deed must be traded as Deku Link.

Ocean Title Deed

The Ocean Title Deed is a land deed for a Golden Deku Flower located in the Zora Hall inside Lulu's room. It is received after showing the Mountain Title Deed to the Deku Scrub as Goron Link.

The Ocean Title Deed can then be traded to the Business Deku Scrub in Ikana Canyon to obtain the last Piece of Heart of the trading sequence, along with 200 Rupees.
