—Igos du Ikana

Igos du Ikana is the long dead king of Ikana Castle.

The two soldiers standing beside him are his bodyguards and in life, they were the best swordsmen of Ikana.

Their fighting style is very similar to that of the Stalfos in Ocarina of Time. Igos also has a Blue Fire breath as his main long range attack. To defeat all three of them, you must burn the drapes with the Fire Arrow, letting the light in. You must defeat his lackeys with basic sword techniques, then you should reflect a shine of light on them when they are lying on the floor so you can finally destroy their bodies. Note that the Bremen Mask is capable of confusing the soldiers to humorous effect, as well as giving a more than generous opening to attack and kill one of the soldiers (providing you possess either the Gilded Sword or the Great Fairy's Sword).

For Igos you should fight him in a similar way attacking him several times right when he's about to attack you. Igos can take off his head and chase Link while the rest of his body keeps attacking with the sword. Watch out for the head when it comes off, as there is no known way to counter it (rolling around with the Goron Mask can almost always avoid it, providing spikes are up). If it gets to you it will latch on to your face taking hearts away in a very similar way to that of the ReDead and Gibdo in Majora's Mask and Ocarina of Time; just run away until it comes back to its body. Then when he falls down on the ground, shine the light on him using your Mirror Shield to defeat him. Afterwards, he will teach you the Elegy of Emptiness before disappearing. Both Igos and his lackeys back away and will not attack when you step into one of the rays of light. If you wear the captains hat while fighting Igos du Ikana (or run up to him with it while fighting the others), he will mistake you for Captain Keeta in a humorous cutscene but then quickly realize that it is a mask.

Also note that the Bremen Mask is not capable of confusing Igos like the soldiers. The dying of his empire, and its name, is similar to the Inca.
