Kakashi (カカシ) is a character in Color Changing Tingle's Love Balloon Trip inspired by the Scarecrow from the Oz books. His name directly translates to scarecrow, which is what he is. Kakashi is one of Tingle's partners in the picture book world, beneath Buriki and Lion. The cheerful scarecrow lacks mentally and is in search for intelligence. He is the smallest of Tingle's three friends and is able to get into small spaces due to his size. Kakashi joins in on Tingle's quest on Page 2. On Page 11, he is kidnapped by Segare, and hidden in a cave behind Usotami Village.
