The Isle of Ember is an island that appears in Phantom Hourglass.
Features
The Isle of Ember is the island where the first Temple, Temple of Fire, is located. It also has a large volcano, which erupts when Link is traveling up the mountain to the temple.
The island is the home of the fortune-teller Astrid. Astrid, upon seeing the Ghost Ship dock at the island, took refuge in the basement of her home and became trapped inside. Link must shout through the door to find out that it can be only unlocked by finding the whereabouts of the three torches located around the island. Only her assistant Kayo knows where they are. Kayo is unfortunately dead, but, once his grave is found, he will tell the young hero the locations of the torches.
After access to the dungeon is revealed, Link has to navigate around the volcano and walk close to its crater. While at the same time, he must dodge the native Tektites and the hot rocks that fall from the sky after being expulsed by the volcanic eruptions. At the end, he finds the Temple of Fire, which holds the Boomerang and the Spirit of Power known as Leaf.[1]
