Hyu or Hyuu are wistful ghosts that roam the Village of Outcasts, the Dark World version of Kakariko Village in A Link to the Past.
Characteristics and Weaknesses
Hyu appear much like Poes, but they haunt desolate and ruined buildings instead of the graveyards commonly associated with Poes and Ghinis, and as such will not appear from under graves or any other objects. Hyu appear to mean no harm directly, but they are likely to get in the way and can inflict two hearts of damage per hit. Link can defeat them easily, however, with a couple of slashes from the Master Sword. They are very common in the Village of Outcasts, and also appear in the woods north of the village, near the entrance to the Skeleton Forest. They may be the spirits of those long dead in the village.
